Meet The Team
The President of the Board of Public Service (“BPS”) is responsible for all public works and improvements undertaken by the City. BPS maintains and improves the infrastructure for the benefit of the residential and business communities. Duties includes the design, construction, and supervision of public works projects. BPS has administrative supervision over Facilities Management, Equipment Services, and Soldiers’ Memorial operations.
BPS helps oversee and assess building costs and contracts for the AC NEXT Gen Project. Additional responsibilities involve working with contractors to decide and implement the building design, noting any environmental issues at the site, and ensuring worker safety.
The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission (DBA Explore St. Louis) is the driving force behind St. Louis’ $5.8 billion convention and tourism industry, the official destination marketing organization responsible for selling St. Louis City and St. Louis County as a convention and meeting site and as a leisure travel destination, and the operator of the America’s Center Convention Complex. Explore St. Louis works to attract citywide conventions, one-hotel meetings, sporting events, group tours and individual leisure travelers to St. Louis. More than 700 local and regional businesses are partners with Explore St. Louis.
Explore St. Louis plays a crucial role in the overall success of the expansion by approving project plans, raising issues and risks and approving milestones of the project.

As Project Managers, KWAME serves as consultants who advise, plan and lead the AC NEXT Gen Project. KWAME works as the leader, interacting with internal and external clients to devise and implement solutions while determining the methodology used on the project. As a valuable resource to stakeholders, KWAME seeks to identify and correct inefficiencies in workflow and processes.

Design team members are engaged with the project through its entire life cycle. As the design team, Fentress Architects play an important role in the AC Gen Next project by adding value to the project in a variety of ways from an emphasis on value engineering to implementing sustainable building practices.
